The Chatham Bars Inn is the most well-known and popular wedding venue in Chatham. This 5-star resort offers a number of different wedding venues capable of hosting a 6-person wedding all the way up to a 300+ person wedding. Many wedding ceremonies happen just steps from the ocean. Some of the most popular wedding reception spaces at the Chatham Bars Inn are the Harbor View Room (75 guest capacity), The Boathouse (90 guest capacity), and the Beach House Grill (250 guest capacity). The resort also has the South Lawn available for weddings where tents can be put up overlooking Chatham Harbor. Tents on the South Lawn can host 100-300+ people.

The Wequassett is another of the premier Cape Cod wedding destinations. This five-star hotel can be found right on the Chatham and Harwich town line. The hotel offers several venues that are capable of hosting anywhere from 50-500 people. Eastward Ho! Country Club
Eastward Ho! is one of the finest country clubs in the United States and it is one of the top-rated golf courses in the world. Eastward Ho! is privately owned by its members, but occasionally it will accommodate weddings for non-members. Availability is dependent upon time of the year, Club business volume, and approval of the House Committee. Weddings are generally prohibited during the evenings on weekends between June 15th and September 15th.
The North Lawn is a wonderful place to have a wedding ceremony or to put up a tent for a reception. Aside from putting up a tent, the Bay Room is the country club's most popular wedding venue. The 3-bedroom home features a stunning, flat lawn right on Mill Pond in Chatham. 6 weddings are allowed each year at the Underwood Estate and they are booked far in advance. Atwood Museum
The Atwood Museum is one of my favorite museums on Cape Cod. Being from Chatham, I love going to the museum to learn more about the history of the town through its artifacts, knowledgeable staff, and changing exhibits. What I did not know about the museum for many years is that it actually is an event and wedding venue as well! The museum actually has three venues that are rentable for weddings either individually or combined. These include the Atwood Museum building (200-person capacity), Stallknecht Mural Barn (75-person capacity), and the Atwood Grounds. Create lifelong memories by having your wedding at the Atwood Museum all while supporting the Chatham Historical Society!

Wayside Inn
Located right along Chatham’s iconic Main Street is the Wayside Inn. This historic property has been welcoming visitors since 1860. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings capable of hosting 40-100 guests. The indoor space is about 1,200 sqft and can be combined with the 1,200 sqft covered blue stone patio. Chatham Beach and Tennis Club
The Chatham Beach and Tennis Club is a stunning club located adjacent to the historic Chatham Lighthouse and the famous Lighthouse Beach. Since 1927, the club has been operating as a seasonal, private seaside club. During the summer months and the shoulder months, members are able to host parties at the clubhouse. In the spring and fall, non-members are able to host events (including weddings) at the club if they are sponsored by current club members. Weddings at the Chatham Beach and Tennis Club can host around 150-200 guests using the clubhouse along with additional tents which can be set up on the front lawn. Getting married and being surrounded by the dunes, beach, and lighthouse is truly incredible.

Chatham Summer
Chatham Summer is a stunning estate in North Chatham. It is one of just a handful of estates in town that is permitted to host weddings. This unique wedding venue features a 10-bedroom main house that dates back to the 1830s along with a 3-bedroom cottage, stairway to beach, garden, and lawn. The lawn is perfect for a reception tent as it features a lot of flat land overlooking the harbor, North Beach Island, and the Atlantic Ocean. The garden is over 100 years old and is perfect for wedding ceremonies. Chatham Summer is truly a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that is packed with character and able to handle weddings of all sizes.

Captain’s House Inn
The Captain’s House Inn is a wonderful bed and breakfast located just a short distance from downtown Chatham. The inn offers a wedding package designed for smaller, intimate weddings that have at a maximum, 20 people. Inn staff work tirelessly to make weddings perfect. It should be noted, that just wedding ceremonies can occur at this venue, and reception and dinner services are not offered.
